Socks for Souls

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″]
[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text el_class=”Lightbox”]Brentwood is collecting socks for the Footsore No More program at First United Church at Hastings and Gore in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

This is one of the most comforting gifts we can offer those who are homeless – clean feet with dry socks. You can bring washed, used socks. You can buy packages of sports socks, especially when they are on sale. You can take a run through your neighbourhood thrift shop and see if they have any socks. Perhaps they’ll give you a deal if you buy ‘in bulk.’ Or you might know suppliers of socks to retail outlets who would donate socks to this program. However you get the socks, just bring them to the church or drop them off at the door. We’ll make sure they get to First United[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”grey” align=”align_center”][vc_column_text]

Brentwood’s Socks for Souls Program is featured in our community newspaper.
